Since this posting, three British girls left home and were seen in Syria. Others from America were caught trying to exit. Churches need to start 24x7 prayer teams.

Thanks for a great post in bringing awareness to the rising numbers of teenage girls who don;t undestand the extreme danger associated with ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups. It is imerative for all of us to reach out and share with the them the evilness those groups are about. It's tough to reach some adolescents and through a collective effort from others and God's powerful hand they can be stopped from joining those groups.

God’s grace has been offered to the entire human family. “For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men . . .” (Titus 2:11). This cannot mean that every soul will be saved. Such a conclusion would contradict numerous other passages.

What this does suggest is that God’s grace is potentially available to all who care to access it by means of the divine plan of redemption (cf. Romans 5:1; 6:3-4,17).

The reception of God’s grace is conditional. Some Christians erroneously asserts that grace is bestowed unconditionally by the sovereign will of God. The Bible negates this concept.

The principle is illustrated by the example of Noah, who “found grace in the eyes of the Lord” (Genesis 6:8); and yet, as the writer of Hebrews shows, the patriarch and his family were saved by preparing an ark in obedience to God’s instruction (11:7; cf. Genesis 6:22). Yahweh proffered the grace. Noah, by faith, obeyed the Lord, and so was blessed. While God extends grace, human beings must be willing to “receive” the favour (2 Corinthians 6:1).

The Grace/Knowledge Connection

χάρις is used of "the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues"

1 Corinthians 1:4-7

4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Grace is expanded into “word and all knowledge,” v5 endowments with which the Corinthians were especially favoured

Three graces which are specifically conditional:

Justification– “A man is justified by faith” (Romans 3:28)

Sanctification– “sanctification by…faith in the truth.” (2 Thessalonians 2:13)

Glorification– “[God will] present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— if you indeed continue in the faith.” (Colossians 1:22)

The access to God’s grace is by means of an objective body of revelation. Paul noted: “For the grace of God hath appeared . . . instructing us . . .” (Titus 2:11-12). Christianity is a taught religion. Isaiah, speaking of the messianic age, exclaimed: “. . . he will teach us of his ways . . .” (2:3). Jesus himself declared: “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught of God. Every one that hath heard from the Father, and has learned, comes unto me” (John 6:45).

God’s grace is not dispensed apart from an instruction that requires both understanding and obedience. In these days when there is a tendency to “stampede” folks into the church, with minimal comprehension of what they are doing, this is a crucial matter to emphasize.

The Lord's grace and mercy directed me to listen to the sermons delivered by Pastor Chuck, my deliverance was at-hand. Well done, good and faithful servant! Rejoice, before the Lord, Pastor Chuck!

I have been away from the body of Christ for awhile, I remember this gentleman, I used to like his ministry. But it's all good he was a true man of God that i can remember. He is with the Lord now. Praise God, He was a good and faithful servant.

So your saying the Father is Yahweh - Who do you say ate with Abraham - Jesus said He did, but you say the Father did. Moses gives us His name Genesis 18:1 Yahweh.
Jesus is so much more He is the Alpha and the Omega, He is the God of Israel, the God of Abraham - Jesus is Yahweh.

Paul tells us who created Heaven and Earth (Jesus) Colossians 1 and Moses tells us this person's name Yahweh (Genies 2:4). Jesus states in Matthew 19:4 that the Creator created Man and woman Jesus didn't say the Father if Jesus said himself He would have been surly stoned but Jesus knew the exact words to say..
